We need your support to be able to continue enhancing the lives of people in communities wherever Rugby League is played.
Rugby League Cares is calling on all Rugby League fans to support the important work of the charity and have the chance of winning thousands of pounds by signing up to our fantastic new lottery.
Care4Cares costs from just £1 a week and will see participants entered into prize draws to win weekly cash prizes, premium Rugby League apparel and money-can’t-buy Rugby League experiences.
The prizes include £1,000 in cash, which must be won every week, Great Britain RL and RL Hall of Fame clothing, and an annual VIP Wembley experience at the Challenge Cup final in the company of a sporting legends.
As a special incentive, the first 100 people to sign up to Care4Cares will be entered into a draw to win a premium Great Britain Lions hoodie from Ellis Rugby.
For just £1 a week, your support will enable RL Cares to continue making a positive difference to the lives of people involved at every level of the sport.
Since lockdown began, for example, we have provided support and advice to more than 150 players suffering poor health or hardship, and helped over 100 players with post-rugby career and education options.
Our health programmes, All Onside and Offload have helped thousands of people manage their physical and mental health during lockdown, and our weekly Rugby League United Podcast is changing the way in which mental wellbeing is perceived.
We have also kept fans engaged and entertained with daily online screenings of classic matches that we’ve converted from VHS to digital format: our videos have received over 900,000 views in the last 11 weeks on our Facebook page alone!
As champions of the sport’s heritage, we are on track to deliver a world class National Rugby League Museum in the next three years, a facility that will celebrate the sport we all love.
