Offload in the workplace

Offload in the workplace

As well as delivering our mental health fitness programme, Offload in the community, we also offer a workplace Offload programme for businesses.

Created in 2016, Offload is a mental fitness programme that empowers, educates, upskills and motivates adults to look after their mental fitness, just as many people do with their physical fitness.

We work with people to address key mental fitness issues including managing emotions and thinking patterns, understanding resilience, building positive coping strategies and resilience. All workshops are solution-focused and practical.

Since its launch, Offload has supported tens of thousands of people to better manage their own mental wellbeing, and to support those around them. Whilst it was originally designed as a men’s programme, it has been successfully rolled out to mixed groups with equal success.

Delivered by our highly-qualified team of former professional athletes who bravely share their own lived experiences, Offload has an evidence-based and proven curriculum which builds resilience, coping strategies and mental health literacy. Even for those who aren’t rugby followers or sports fans, the presenters give them ‘real-life’ experiences in a relatable context.

The programme has been delivered at scale across communities and within a range of large, diverse organisations, such as SSE, the Environment Agency, NHS Trusts and West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service.

The most recent data shows:

  • * 97 per cent of participants had a better understanding of how to manage their mental health;
  • * 96 per cent had better positive coping strategies;
  • * 100 per cent felt more able to discuss their mental health with friends or family;
  • * 73 per cent felt more motivated to improve their education, training or employment position.

Offload supports businesses to create a more resilient and inclusive society. By building the mental fitness, resilience and wellbeing of its workforce, we can assist your business to champion the role of business to be a force for good.

Whilst further discussion on practical delivery methods is required, we would ensure that the programme is tailored for the needs of your workforce, and would adapt delivery to meet the differing needs of employees within your organisation.

If you are interested in bringing Offload to your workplace to support your staff please contact our Partnerships Manager Nav Uppal for more information.”
