Rugby League Cares is an independent charity which relies on grants and donations to fulfil our important role within the sport.
We receive funding from organisations like the Big Lottery to run projects such as our men’s fitness and wellbeing programme, Offload, and from the Arts Council for our cultural partnerships programmes.
The charity also receives the proceeds from fines levied against professional players and clubs by disciplinary tribunals during the course of a season: this resource is re-invested into our player welfare programme, which awards education and training grants to help players make the transition out of rugby at the end of their careers.
We are also grateful for donations from both individuals and organisations who want to help us continue making a positive impact on the lives of people involved at every level of the sport.
If you would like to make a donation and want to know more about what we do, please get in touch.
