Keeping 23 adventure-fueled cyclists fed, happy and raring to go is a full-time job for the Rugby League Cares support team on the 2019 UK Red Ride to Wembley.
Transporting all the riders’ luggage, spare parts and kit, not to mention the mountains of food and drink the riders consume over the course of five gruelling days in the saddle, is a massive logistical challenge.
Fortunately, help will be at hand in August thanks to the fantastic support of NL Van, Truck and Car Hire, who have once again stepped forward to be the logistics partner of the charity’s biggest fundraiser.
NL Van, Truck and Car Hire are a family-owned vehicle rental company, the largest in Yorkshire, and have depots throughout the North of England.The company specialises in vehicle hire solutions and commercial fleet management, as well as supplying a full range of vehicles to the public for self-drive hire.
For the 2019 UK Red Ride to Wembley, NL Van, Truck and Car Hire will provide two fully-fuelled support vehicles and a generous cash donation to help make the event more successful than ever before.

The UK Red Ride to Wembley is an off-road cycling challenge that will see 23 riders embark on a grueling 340-mile route from the George Hotel, Huddersfield, to the RL Challenge Cup final.
Over five days from Monday August 19, the rider will avoid tarmac wherever possible on a route that follows canal towpaths, forest trails, green lanes and bridleways across the Pennines and through Peak District, Cotswolds and Chiltern Hills.
The ride is sponsored by UK Red Security and Fire Systems, and Spec Ltd, and aims to raise £50,000 for Rugby League Cares.
