RL Cares seeks Community Programme Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Programme Manager to join Rugby League Cares.

We are looking for an experienced, highly motivated and enthusiastic Programme Manager to lead the delivery of our suite of health and wellbeing projects. These projects successfully support thousands of people across our rugby league towns and communities to live happy, healthy and flourishing lives. Our role within the health care system is expanding, and we require a confident and competent leader to ensure we continue to deliver exceptional projects aligned to local need.

The post-holder will lead, plan, execute and finalise projects according to strict deadlines set by our funding partners. They will be responsible for ensuring each project achieves its outcomes and objectives, developing and controlling project plans and risk registers and ensuring each project is managed within budget.

The post holder will successfully manage a multitude of internal and external relationships, ensuring projects retain the values of the charity and our partners.

Furthermore, the post holder will manage our unique team of Community Wellbeing and Welfare Officers, (who are current or former professional athletes) to deliver and embed our work across communities.
