RL Cares and Oxen launch new sports and leisurewear range

Rugby League Cares has teamed up with elite sportswear company Oxen to launch a fantastic new range of leisure apparel and accessories.

The high-quality branded kit and equipment features the RL Cares logo and is a great way for rugby league fans to both look smart and support the important work of the charity.

The range includes T-shirts, hoodies, vests, shorts and track pants in men’s, women’s and junior sizes, plus a useful backpack which is perfect for carrying gym and training kit, or school and office gear.

Rugby League Cares Chief Executive Chris Rostron said: “RL Cares staff have been wearing the Oxen kit over the last few months and wherever we have been people have commented on how good it looks and asked if it was available to buy.

“We are delighted to partner with such a widely respected and recognisable company as Oxen to make this fantastic new apparel range available to rugby league fans everywhere.”

Oxen are part of the UK-based Elite Pro Sports Group and supply branded and innovative garments to athletes across a wide range of sports and clubs, including England Rugby League, Leeds Rhinos and Hull Kingston Rovers.

Oxen were also supporters of le Tour de RL Cares, the charity’s 500-mile trans-continental bike ride which raised more than £30,000 in June this year.

Lee Jenkinson, Chief Executive of Oxen, said: “We are proud of our partnership with Rugby League Cares and this new range of apparel underlines our belief in the importance of the work the charity does.

“We have been working with the team at Cares for some time to develop the range and we are sure it will prove to be very popular with fans of all ages.”

All proceeds from sales of the new Oxen apparel will go to the RL Cares Brain Health Fund, which delivers education programmes to current players about the importance of good brain health and supports retired players who have had a confirmed clinical diagnosis of cognitive conditions such as dementia, Alzheimer’s disease and memory loss.

New items will also be added to the range over the coming months and can be purchased directly from Oxen here with free delivery throughout November using the code RLCARESFD
