NL Commercial drive the Wild Atlantic Adventure to success

NL Commercial are the latest company to sponsor Rugby League Cares’s biggest fundraiser of 2024, the Wild Atlantic Adventure.

The company will supply a Luton vehicle to support the riders on their epic 300-mile cycling challenge along Ireland’s rugged southern coastline between Cork and Limerick next month.

The van will be driven by RL Cares Transition Manager Francis Stephenson, one of a three-strong team who will provide full support to participants throughout an the event thagt is taking place in partnership with Rugby Players Ireland.

NL Commercial are a family-owned vehicle rental company, the largest in Yorkshire, and have depots throughout the North of England. The company specialises in vehicle hire solutions and commercial fleet management, as well as supplying a full range of vehicles to the public for self-drive hire.

The Wild Atlantic Adventure starts in Cork on Wednesday June 26 and finishes four days later in Limerick and will involve the riders taking on some of the most challenging on-road terrain that Ireland has to offer.

The ride takes place in association with Boiler Central, a Wakefield-based central heating company who supply, instal and service central heating systems across the UK.

All the proceeds from the ride will enable RL Cares to deliver education programmes on brain health to current players and provide dementia support to retired professional players and their families.
