Bartlett providing insurance support to the Wild Atlantic Adventure

Rugby League Cares is pleased to announce independent financial specialists The Bartlett Group as an associate sponsor of the charity’s epic fundraising challenge for 2024, the Wild Atlantic Adventure.

The Leeds-based insurance brokers, financial advisers and wealth management experts are supporting the 300-mile four-day cycle ride by providing a bespoke insurance package for this special event.

Bartlett will have their logo feature prominently on the specially designed ride kit that is scheduled to be unveiled early next month.

The ride takes place in partnership with Rugby Players Ireland, the organisation that delivers welfare and wellbeing support to rugby union players across the island of Ireland.

Nav Uppal, the Partnership Manager at RL Cares, said: “We would like to thank the Bartlett Group for their fantastic support of the charity and this important fundraising event.

“Knowing that Bartletts have the backs of our riders and staff during the ride provides peace of mind for everyone.”

Ian Roberts, Major Account Director for Bartlett, said: “Bartlett are really pleased to continue our longstanding support for Rugby League Cares through our association with this amazing event.

“We would like to wish all the brave riders who are taking on the challenge of the Wild Atlantic Adventure the very best of luck and urge rugby league fans everywhere to sponsor a rider and help the charity make a difference.”

The Wild Atlantic Adventure starts in Cork on Wednesday June 26 and finishes four days later in Limerick and will involve the riders taking on some of the most challenging on-road terrain that Ireland has to offer.

The ride takes place in association with Boiler Central, a Wakefield-based central heating company who supply, instal and service central heating systems across the UK.

All the proceeds from the ride will enable RL Cares to deliver education programmes on brain health to current players and provide dementia support to retired professional players and their families.
