Omicrom forces postponement of President’s Ball

The Rugby League Benevolent Fund and the RFL have been working closely together in preparation for the forthcoming 2022 RFL President’s Ball.

The ball was scheduled to take place in Leeds on Saturday January 8 but in light of the recent surge of the Covid-19 Omicron variant, and the uncertainty it holds, the decision has been made to postpone the event until Friday July 29, 2022. Further details will be announced in the New Year.

RFL President Clare Balding OBE said: “It’s sad to have had to make this decision, but I hope everyone will understand why we have done so. Thank you again for supporting the President’s Ball and the RL Benevolent Fund, and here’s to brighter times in 2022.”
