Infinity Works go the extra mile to support Ride to Wembley 2019

Rugby League Cares is delighted to announce that Infinity Works are continuing their support for the charity as associate sponsors of the 2019 UK Red Ride to Wembley.

Infinity Works are a Leeds-based IT services company with offices in Manchester, London and Edinburgh who have sponsored the charity’s biggest fundraiser every year since the inaugural Ride to Wembley in 2017.

Paul Henshaw, one of the company’s founders, said: “Infinity Works are pleased to have this opportunity to maintain our links with RL Cares, a charity that makes such a positive difference to people involved throughout the sport.

“The team at Infinity Works are huge sports fans, and have a close relationship with the Rugby League community.

“The fact that so many former players are again involved in the Ride to Wembley says a lot about the importance of the work RL Cares does and we are delighted to be able to support them.”

The UK Red Ride to Wembley is an off-road cycling challenge that will see 23 riders embark on a grueling 340-mile route from the George Hotel, Huddersfield, to the RL Challenge Cup final.

Over five days from Monday August 19, the rider will avoid tarmac wherever possible on a route that follows canal towpaths, forest trails, green lanes and bridleways across the Pennines and through Peak District, Cotswolds and Chiltern Hills.

The ride is sponsored by UK Red Security and Fire Systems, and Spec Ltd, and aims to raise £50,000 – last year’s ride raised over £30,000 for Rugby League Cares.
