The Benevolent Fund will remain an independent charity and has formed an agreement to work collaboratively with Rugby League Cares.
Rugby League Cares and the RFL Benevolent Fund hope that through this cooperative structure they can access additional funds for the critical work of the Benevolent Fund.
Provisions Of Hardship Relief
The Benevolent Fund is for the provision of hardship relief to all Rugby League players in the UK past and present as well as all those who assist or have assisted them. Also any players or their dependents who are in hardship or distress as a result of a serious injury, resulting in life changing circumstances caused through playing or training for the game of Rugby League or when travelling to or from a game or training session.

On the 16th July, I will graduate from the University of Huddersfield with a BA (HONS) 2:1 Degree. It will be seven years since a life changing injury turned my world upside down, but with the help of the Benevolent Fund, I have been able to get it back on track.
